I'm in the unique position of having been an ice cream driver who grew up in a mom and pop grocery just outside of Chicago (River Grove, Il). The Popsicle cases I delivered were marked O-C-G (orange-cherry-grape) or R-B-L (root beer-banana-lime). These are the combination packs still being marketed. When I was a kid in our store, the popsicles were sold from bulk pack boxes, two sticks per break apart pop and one flavor per box. We always had 6 or 8 flavors in a roll top freezer. The odd ones that stick out in my memoty are licorice (oddly a white popsicle) and a pale blue berry flavor.
Cheers!
